Tips for clients
Here are a few tips we feel are important to increase the speed and efficiency of any executive search process:
- Time spent at the beginning is time spared for the rest of the process: Do give us as much information as possible to help us understand the overall context of the search, the culture and management style of your company and all the implication of the mission of the future hire.
- If you do a search to see which candidates are on the market and to compare them to other options you may have such as an internal candidate, let us know and make sure we work as a team on the assignment.
- Do not change the requirements of the position or the candidate profile in the middle of the search process if you are looking for quick results.
- Do not delay your hiring decisions: Talents are scarce and the competition is tough to attract and retain them. Keep in mind that your local subsidiary will have to compete with many prominent North American businesses to attract candidates.
- Think total compensation package including attractive benefits to address local market practices and trends.
