The company was born out of a networking meeting between Doug Seville and Myriam Le Cannellier. At the time, Myriam had a career coaching practice. They chatted about their respective experience as Doug was conducting a search for an Italian company and was facing several challenges, mainly because of cultural differences. The coffee conversation evolved into lunch and the rest is history!
Doug and Myriam met regularly over the course of several months to discuss creating an executive search recruitment business together. Long before remote work was common, they embraced it, often meeting in coffee shops! Almost immediately, it became evident that the pair could provide value to the niche: “help European companies recruit executive talent in the US”.
Doug’s experience included HR and General Management in a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, retail, and services. Myriam’s background included an earlier career in Marketing followed by several years of experience in Executive Search, recruiting Executives in Argentina for the subsidiaries of French companies.
