DSML Executive Search is headquartered in Chicago. DSML chose Chicago as a result of the first meeting between our co-founders Myriam and Doug who were meeting in a Starbucks coffee to create the company and discuss our first Executive Searches. The firm later moved to the business district also know as The Loop.
Most of our team is located in Chicago, a vibrant city conveniently located in the Midwest : From Chicago, we can serve our clients across the US based in Detroit, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas and of course travel to see our European or Canadian clients easily through O’Hare International Airport. Clients who are visiting from Europe usually find Chicago is a convenient hub and Executive Candidates can make a day trip to interview from many other US locations.
Indeed, even if we regularly conduct Chicagoland related Executive Searches, DSML is adept at using technology to both conduct confidential video interviews and engage with clients no matter their time zone. We also work all the time on searches in other parts of the country.
Our recent Chicago based searches are a good sample of our expertise and a reminder that Chicago is an international hub for finance, culture, commerce, industry, education, technology, telecommunications, and transportation. For example, we have recruited a Managing Director for a French capital equipment company with manufacturing operations in the suburbs. We helped another French industrial client hire their new CFO for North America, following a confidential process. We also found the VP Americas for a French Tech client and the President and CEO for an Austrian manufacturer.
Since we are exclusively focused on recruiting CEOs, CFOs, and VPs for European and Canadian owned US subsidiaries, we are well positioned in the Chicagoland area to take care of our clients’ executive search throughout the US. Depending on our clients’ needs, we can conduct local searches with a nationwide reach to find the best talent, considering the specifics of the Greater Chicago ecosystem and more largely, the Midwest.
